Hair Removal : Technical Information

At Laser-Erase, we use the most advanced laser system from Lumenis™ and we believe that this is the best technology available. We selected the Lightsheer™ Diode Laser System which is a high-powered, pulsed diode array system and is proven to provide permanent hair reduction.

 

It has a pulse width of 400 milliseconds and intensity of up to 100J, which make it possible to treat darker skinned and tanned clients, as well as permanently eliminate ingrown hairs in all skin types. The LightSheer™ by Lumenis™, is FDA approved for permanent hair reduction. To achieve a satisfactory level of clearance, 3-5  treatments are typically required.

LightSheer™ versus other methods of Hair Removal:

The LightSheer™ Diode Laser System's design provides for enhanced comfort during treatment, minimal risk of infection, speed and accuracy.

• Since the system uses a unique cooling hand piece, it minimizes skin irritation that other methods may create.
• Since it is non-invasive (no needles to penetrate the skin), the risk of introducing bacteria into the skin is reduced.
